Movie legend Andy Serkis completes Heroes Comic Con line-up

Meet this The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars & MCU actor on September 25th, in Brussels Expo

Heroes Comic Con finishes off its actor line-up with a bang! Actor Andy Serkis is the godfather of motion capture movies, with iconic roles like Smeagol / Gollum in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, Caesar in Planet of the Apes, King Kong in the eponymous movie, and so much more. On top of that, he also has face roles in MCU's Black Panther and Avengers: Age of Ultron movies, The Batman (2022), and so on. This is a truly world-famous actor in every way.

There are few actors more iconic in the realms of motion capture movies than English actor Andy Serkis. He is the man behind the CGI for world-famous characters like Smeagol / Gollum in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, Supreme Leader Snoke in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, Kong in 2005’s reimagined King Kong movie, Caesar in the Planet of the Apes reboot trilogy, and even the Belgian character Captain Haddock in The Adventures of TinTin: The Secret of the Unicorn and its highly anticipated sequels.

To name a few instances where he's not behind a layer of CGI: he was Alfred Pennyworth in 2022’s The Batman, the Marvel Cinematic Universe villain Ulysses Klaue (Black Panther, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Marvel’s What If…?), and starred in a wide array of blockbuster movies and TV series.

You can also thank him personally at Heroes Comic Con for his directing work on movies like Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle.

Fun fact: he was a part of over 10% of the top-100 list of the highest grossing movies of all time.

Andy Serkis will be present at Heroes Comic Con, on Sunday September 25th, at Brussels Expo.

Other actors in the line-up are: Caleb McLaughlin (Stranger Things), Matt Smith (House of the Dragon), Alyssa Milano (Charmed), Dan Fogler (Fantastic Beasts), Sarah Rafferty (Suits), and Emily Swallow (The Mandalorian).

He will be available for Q&A sessions on stage and for photoshoot and autograph sessions. For tickets and more info on this pop culture festival, check www.heroescomiccon.be.
